Chubby Font
In the midst of the hectic Christmas season, fellow designers Alvin Kwan, Polly Lau, Robin Oshiro and myself aimed to create four typographic Christmas cards. Our goal was to utilize words/phrases that allude to Christmas.
For my card, I designed a rather fat custom type to hint at the idea of a large Santa coming down a small chimney.
This chubby font is in its early stages with define areas for improvement. Also for reasons not expected, this chubby font reminds me of things like "Chutney" or something festive and celebratory.
All in all, Merry Christmas!
